Guest guest
I just saw a recipe using almond butter. Blanched means no skin, correct? And you can't buy this you have to make it yourself, correct? I assume I would do this by food processing and adding a little oil slowly? And in the beginning is almond better than pecan butter? Guest guest
You can buy Almondie - which is blanched almond butter - at Digestive Wellness. Maybe elsewhere, too, I'm not sure. Or you can make your own. MaraI just saw a recipe using almond butter. Blanched means no skin, correct? And you can't buy this you have to make it yourself, correct? Guest guest
I'm also new to this diet, 2 months, and from what I've read pecan butter is easier to digest than almond butter > > I just saw a recipe using almond butter. I got a jar of Almondie from Digestive WEllness just to see what it was like. It is very creamy, and light in color as you would expect. They say it makes into almond milk very easily and I suspect this is right though I haven't tried it. It's also VERY pricey, so I think if I want a creamier more liquid blanched almond butter, I could pay for a new food processor pretty quickly by making my own.
