Guest guest
Matt, Sorry to hear about your flare up. Prednisone does nothing for the Sarc in my right eye either. My Remicade was moved up from 8 to 6 weeks but still didn't do much for the eye inflamation so I had an injection in my eye last monday. The injections are hard and I don't think it is really helping any either. They only time that the Sarc in my eyes cleared up with during the first doses of Remicade. What kind of eye surgeries have you had? I've only had the cataract surgeries & have glacoma too but so far the drops are working for that. I hope things inprove and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers Ruth Hi just thought i should check in- been fairy sick this past month- my headaches have come > back fairly strong along with a lot of pain in legs and arms- also have to have eye surgery on > oct 16th -it will be my fifth eye sugery in the past year- Docs keep uping my prednisone but > not sure it is helping- other then that i am doing ok- not much new up here in seattle- MATT> > > > > > > ~~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~~> The Neurosarcoidosis Community> > NS CHAT:- FAITH CHATS: WEDNESDAY 9PM EST. 8PM CENTRAL. 6PM PST > SUNDAY 12 MIDNIGHT EST. 11PM CENTRAL. 9PM PST> OPEN CHATS: THURSDAY 9PM EST. 8PM CENTRAL. 6PM PST> SUNDAY 4PM EST. 3PM CENTRAL. 1PM PST> > CHATROOM LINK: http://www.emxpc.net/chat/index.php > > Message Archives:-> http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Neurosarcoidosis/messages> > Members Database:-> Listings of locations, phone numbers, and instant messengers.> http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Neurosarcoidosis/database > >
Guest guest
Ruth, Matt, and all,I found out in the nick of time that I have narrow angle glaucoma (also have cataracts) both eyes. Saw my eye dr couple weeks ago when had a sarcoid flare in left eye and then went to f/u on Tuesday and dr said glaucoma. Problem too was that if I had done my AICD surgery (was going to have general anesthetic) on Wednesday I would have completely lost my sight in both eyes b/c optic nerves would have been blown from pressure. Just something more to keep in mind...Beckyolehomepla wrote: Matt, Sorry to hear about your flare up. Prednisone does nothing for the Sarc in my right eye either.
