Guest guest
Hi everyone I finally had my appt with my gyn. She is scheduling me for an endometrial ablation, which is basically a procedure that permanently removes the endometrium lining of the uterus. Most women will never have a period again, some will have just light spotting. This will take care of the bleeding problems that sent me to the ER a couple of weeks ago. Part of the preparation for the procedure was to do a biopsy of my uterus to check for cancer, fibroids etc...very very painful procedure. She did that in the office today. Now I have to have an ultrasound done and then just wait for a date. It is done as outpatient surgery and I will be outta work for 2-3 days. But I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel and relief from this problem. Huggles
