Thanks for this info Ron. I use a One Touch Ultra glucometer and have had to have mine replaced 3 times so far. I checked out my test strips and they're ok (not on the list) but will know to keep a close eye on this in the future. The strips are expensive (about $1 a strip and come in vials of 25 and there are 100 in a box...insurance covers it so I am fortunate). I usually need to test between 6-10 times a day b/c am on 3 different insulins (r/t the steroids) and with my pred going up with these flares lately I am in constant blood sugar fluctuations.
