Guest guest
Carsen's ANC yesterday was a whapping 3200! I am fairly sure that he's transitioning....He's nearing his Neutropenia phase.. He went from an ANC of 2100 on Monday with neut. % of 19% low but they are up to 27% as of yesterday..still low, I know but enough to bring up that ANC with A WBC of 10.something.. This is typical for him when he's dropping to jump up but just isn't able to keep up the production of WBC's & Neut. very long. It's just like a woman and her monthly cycle... His bone marrow production is on a cycle with this Neutropenia. Your marrow is on a cycle anyway isn't it?? How is ? Alll go well with her last transfusion? Carsen's next CBC will be on Sunday. His BMB will be next Thursday.Hopefully, his cycle will fall on or near his BMB day. OH! Caden will also be seeing her! I made a huge discovery! We just dont' do CBC's on Caden much. I found last yr, during a routine CBC for a baseline (for our new ped) Caden's ANC was 1200. He was not sick either. I think most of his have been obtained during infection, etc.. His BMB done in 2002 had a slighy elevation of blasts and normocytic anemia. So, she thought it was significant enough to see him too! She must be GREAT! I can't wait to meet her! I am soooo glad I started putting Caden's med records back together. Last yr, I had no idea what a low ANC was.. this is why I didn't noticed the Lows marked on Caden's CBC's. He has a few other mildly low ones too. I just don't have many to referr to on him. Anyway.... I'll give you more detail later. I have got to go pick up our pictures we had made. Krystena Re: Oxidative Stress Krystena, sorry that link was so much mumbo jumbo, you know the specifics of this stuff is way over my head. Here is a good link, I read it and get it. Coq10 is an anitoxident so it would make sense that you have oxidative stress if you are deficient. I too have cq10 def. Are you sure we weren't seperated at birth? How are the kids?
