Lorraine,

I'm so sorry that you are having to go thru all this. Getting a correct diagnosis is an extended journey in itself.

The Bell's Palsy was probably correct, but with both sides of your face becoming involved- you've got alot of nerve involvement from something.

Have your MD's run CT scans and MRI's of your brain? This should have been done both with and without contrast. In the ARCHIVES, I've got an article on what the different cranial nerves do function wise--- so it would be worth checking that area of the group site out. (The address is at the bottom of this and every email we send out--just scroll down to the bottom section.)

Also, with your eyes "jumping around" you need to see an Ophthalmologist--(MD)-- and not an Optometrist (OD). They can run visual field tests that can see if you have more than sarcoidosis effecting your brain. (Either way, if it effects our brain- it's not a good thing.)

Go into the LINKS and ARCHIVES, and print out some of the articles on NS and sarcoidosis. It sounds like they really haven't worked you up test wise to see what's going on.

Take care, and ask away-- questions are more than welcome, and if we don't know the answers, we'll help you find answers.

Take care,

Tracie
