Guest guest
It's nice to meet another so-cal friend! You are right, this board is a blessing! At 26 your husband will feel like he married someone else!!!! I'm in the waiting part of this trip, issues about my meeting with the kooky cookie doctor! (shrink) and UCLA's interpretation of her report. But my dear husband Randy had surgery on August 2, at UCLA, he is down almost 60 pounds! His health is super, he can eat anything, but just a bite or two.... he never feels hungry or deprived. It feels strange to reach over in the middle of the night and keep feeling my arm go DOWN and touch the sheet on the other side of him!!!! He really paid attention to the rules, no early bird eating!!!! Clear Liquids for two weeks, full liquids for another two weeks, soft food next, and lots of protein!!!! I really believe that helped "set" his new tummy (pouch) and made things go so easy! I look forward to being a POSTIE soon, with my work/school schedule, I must wait until December now, but I'm okay with that now, these beautiful nothern cal friends helped me through my being so bummed out about the delay. No other group on or off the computer has been so sweet, smart, caring and awesome! Good luck! Your so cal neighbor! Sue in Palmdale
