Hi guys-

I've been laying low for about a week now and I thought I'd check in. My

official preliminary denial from Aetna came last Tuesday ( " ...results of

sugery not proven to be safe or effective... " - I'd love to see their

data!!!!!). Now, I was warned that this would happen. It's their knee-jerk

reaction to the request for a DS. Dr. Pomp is writing an appeal that I'm

told should do the trick, but I can't help but feel like I've got this cloud

over my head. With two weeks and two days to go, I would like to be able to

feel more upbeat and be able to plan for my journey.

So I ask those who wouldn't mind, to add a little prayer on my behalf

tonight....

Talk to you all later, hopefully with good news - watch for the post with

all caps!

You got those prayers, as requested. Actually, I'm looking at your

date and you're scheduled the day after I am (different dr.), and

hey, I'll try my best to keep you in mind as I'm hanging out

recovering.

You're definitely in my prayers. I'm truly hoping that Dr. Pomp's letter will do what is necessary to get your surgery approved.
