This is kind of off the subject. But, I have a 19 yr old patient with Duchanne's Muscular Dystrophy who is relocating to Des Moines. He has 15 hours of nursing care a day and is ventilator dependent. I need to find a good physician in Des Moines to follow him and a good home care agency. Anyone in that area have any suggestions?????????

We use Dr. Ruby Cureg for a pediatrician but since he is 19 years old I am unsure who might be a good recommendation. Honestly, I do not have my own local physician as I have always seen either specialists for my problems or midwives/obstetricians for my women's care. Sorry I can't help you more. A good home care agency is In Trust. We use them for some nursing care and lots of medical supplies, including oxygen, which are delivered to our home.
