Guest guest
Well, I meant to post this a couple of weeks ago but i got over busy and also felt extra crappy but....I had some serious reactions to trying the Advair inhaler. After a few weeks on it my back was in unbelievable pain and i was in some deep s**t of a depression...more than I ever usually am. There were a few other bad side-effects but those were what made me stop taking it. It is now on my list of things I am allergic to at the doc's office. After dropping it I was back to normal(whatever that is ) within two or three days. Alot of docs push the new meds when what you're taking...you're not having problems with. (Do they get some commission of this?! lol. ) This is another good reason to make one med change at a time so you can chart any changes when trying new stuff. Docs also try to give me too strong of a pain med...probably cuz of my weight...but I have to remind them that I am 'sensitive' to pain meds and need to take it slow. Advair contains a steroid so you may get white spots in your mouth...rinse very very thoroughly. Eat yogurt...it helps. Sugar and steroids don't mix well either... in my opinion. I take Aerobid which has steroid in it and rinse and spit religiously after using. ...just a few thoughts and opinions hugs S. All-new Yahoo!
