Guest guest
Hi folks, I thought I would jump in with my story. I am a 59 woman who had surgery at age 2 for non hodgkins lymphoma. After which came diabetis insipidis and partial face Bells Palsy. By school age was hearing impaired and now profoundly deaf but still kicking that " old Sarcoid around " though. Most recent bout is in my eyes, tired all the time, and pains in my shoulders from repeative finger use. I use eye drops for the eyes to keep them from becoming too dry. I am on a self imposed, non meat, grain, dairy, diet...sort of a Paleo (veggies, nuts, fruits) This diet may have saved my life as I was in sorry shape this spring. The swellings all over the body are almost gone, the lumpy skin is cleared, and my bouts of shingles is way down. I am sure glad to be aboard and what great welcomes from you all. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Clare, I haven’t been around much trying to recover from a vacation with the family and I decided to read the email from newest to oldest so I don’t repeat things, which I’ve done before, I’m glad you found this very loving supportive and informative family of Sarcoid. You sure have a history, I’m sorry to hear of all you’ve been through. Guest guest
Thanks Clare, it was difficult trying to stay out of the sun, but I did pretty well, and only had to sleep one day away, but I paid the price when I got home. Oh well, we play we pay! I just need to slow down in life in general! Guest guest
Hi Becky, Yes, we all need a few more family, especially ones who understand the nature of what Sarcoidosis is all about. Have a nice day. ClareMac Tosh wrote: Hi Clare,You've come to the best place for support and help. We're all in this together.
