Cheryl: I don't think it's as common as with the RNY, but, yes, I've heard

of people vomitting (mainly from overeating or eating too quickly immediately

post-op). Some people can get nauseous (ranging from really nauseous to

mildly nauseous) after the surgery and this can last awhile. I personally

didn't experience this (nor have I thrown up), but it is within the realm of

possibility.

I think the majority don't experience vomiting on a regular basis although

one *may* experience a nauseous feeling as an immediate post-op.
