Some people can get nauseous (ranging from really nauseous to mildly nauseous) after the surgery and this can last awhile. I personally didn't experience this (nor have I thrown up), but it is within the realm of possibility. I think the majority don't experience vomiting on a regular basis although one *may* experience a nauseous feeling as an immediate post-op. all the best, lap ds with gallbladder removal January 25, 2001 four months post-op and still feelin' fab!
