Howdy Folks,

I realize I don't post much, but...

Having been diagnosed with N-Sarc in Dec 1995 (treated w\Pred, +

Cyclosporine with some success), I have had a yearly MRI each year,

'just to be sure' of no further changes from year to year. At the time

of my biopsy (Dec 1995) I was also being tested for CJD (as a child I

was treated for pituitary dwarfism with naturally sourced HGH -

instances of CJD have been reported in cases of people treated w\

Naturally sourced HGH).

This year, I was referred to an Endocrinilogist (hormone specialist),

who checked nearly evert bodi;ly hormone imaginable. As it turns out,

a 3mm 'lesion' has appeared in each of my yearly MRIs (on my anterior

pituitary gland). The Dr who had referred me to this Endo Dr has told

me this 'lesion' is in fact a benign Pituitary Adenoma, not doing

anything beyond occupying space. I am told, when I am in to see my

opthalmologist (bi-annual check-up), to have him check my eyesight to

be sure this 'Adenoma' is not compressing my optic nerves (Optic

Chiasm). Interestingly enough, the blood work the Endo Dr had done on

me, showed that my Pit Gland was in fact producing normal amounts of

HGH (for an adult male). Odd he should find that, I had always assumed

I was treated for PitDwarfism (as a child) because my Pit gland was

not producing the HGH.

Anyways, I just thought I would 'fish' for any thoughts anyne might

want to offer...

Mike
