Guest guest
Some surgeons seem to be doing this. Mine doesn't other than having special vitamins to purchase from him in the future. Will they make arrangements with you? I'm sorry you've run into this. It makes me mad because it makes it seem as if you need money to be healthy. IF you read the statistics...we are the poor social class...they should know we're poor! AJ > I am all set to have my surgery but... Guest guest
Nadine I am in the exact same position. I am set to have my op on Dec 11 but I also need to come up with $7000 before that date. I don't have the option of taking out a loan either. I sadly, and having to return to work. I have a 12 month old baby and I always vowed that I would never go back to work until he was at school. But times have changed and I feel that after weighing up the pros and cons, that returning to work is the right thing to do (but only for 12 months). The pros were Earning the money for my op, having a mum who is energetic and full of life, Not seeing my son come home from school or playgroup crying cause they teased him about his fat mummy. The cons were, Being a weekend mum to my son for a year, becoming stressed and busy once again. I feel that the pros outweigh the cons but it will be a struggle and an emotional rollercoaster, as the last thing I want is to leave my child in someone elses care, for them to virtually raise my son. I hope that you too find a solution to your problem. For a while I hoped that someone would find the answer for me and that I wouldnt have to return to work but it hasnt happened. If you want it bad wnough , you will find a way... Guest guest
Yeah, I had the same problem. I went and found another doctor 200 miles away in network that didn't charge the post op fees. Keep looking, you will find your answer! > I am all set to have my surgery but...
