Guest guest
I thought since there is a thread on sucrose, I'd mention the baked chicken I made last night. Even with fruit, sweet vegetables and unsweetened cider, it's extremely sweet! I had three apples, half an onion, 1/2 c. apple cider, lots of thyme stems (most of this leftover so I needed to make something), two garlic cloves, maybe a bunch of young carrots cut up, a couple of handful of green grapes. It was sooo sweet. I didn't mind it so much since I knew nothing was added but it did bother me later last night. I remembered Misty's tip on the grapes but either/or with the apples/carrots/grapes would be great. This was good--just overkill ;-). The only other thing added was olive oil on the chicken and lemon juice for the apples. Debbie 40 cd
