Guest guest
Thanks for asking, she is doing much better. This whole ordeal has frightened me to be so carefull with her for now on. I am so thankfull her pediatrician and Dr.Cohen did not blow this off, because we may have lost her if so. It still shocks me that she was not dehydrated when they admitted her, and she did dehydrate after 12 hours of fluids. Thankfully the hospital quickly picked up on it and gave her double the fluids. We are now trying to get her a cooling vest ASAP. She has been on the list for Moody since April, so they are really trying to speed things up for her. MDA has offered to pay for her vest, so now it is a matter of waiting. I did get to talk to somone from Moody today, and they have an old infant size vest they are going to mail to me for her to use in the meantime. She said it is an old type wich is bulky and heavy. I really don't care what it looks like, as long as this does not happen again. Thanks again for your concern.
