Guest guest Posted November 6, 2005 Report Share Posted November 6, 2005 Hi Jeanne. Don't stop taking the medication without consulting your surgeon or the anesthesiologist. I am sure your surgeon is aware of the medications you are on. You are told not to take certain type of pain medication that are blood thinners like asprin, or ibuprofin.
