Guest guest
I am sure there are tons of reasons for shaking and tremors. With Grace, though, we tend to see the most shaking when her blood sugar drops too low. Also she does shake a lot when she gets a fever. I have noticed alot of jerking in her sleep, but I do not know what it is and usually associate it with dreaming. I am sure you will get some better answers on this topic from others. ,Mommy to (9), (7), Bre-Anne (6), Grace (2) and our newest arrival is due Sept. 20thFor the latest baby info, and to see our family check out:www.BabyCountDown.com?baby=4007
Guest guest
I've been reading all the messages and talk about tremors and I have a question. My daughter has just recently been diagnosed but about two years ago she had tremors in her arms. She called me at work to let me know her hands were shaking, I told her to eat something that sometimes when your hungry your hands will shake. She called back a little later and said it was getting worse. I left work and came home. I have never seen anything like what was happening to her. You could watch the tremor run up her whole arm, both arms. Inside I was scared to death, I calmly sent her out of the room to call the doctor. I rushed her to his office and they could see what was going on. They sent her to have an MRI and then to Nashville to a neurologist that specializes in MS. We have a family history of MS. In fact this happened just a couple months after my sister passed away from MS. 's MRI was normal and the doctor in Nashville said it wasn't MS. They never have said why this happened. Is this a part of mito disorders? I have noticed that she does some jerking while she is asleep but not alot. I'm sorry I am new to all this and feel like I should know more. Any help would be great. Guest guest
-Both of my children have tremor. It seems to come and go. My son's tremor is the worst in his hands but it can be anywhere. My daughter's tremor seems to start at one place and then go through her body. It will be bad for a while and then go away for months and months. Don't know why it happens but it happens with mito sometimes.
Guest guest
My oldest son acquired a tremor in both hands, right being worse, sometimes affecting his arms also at the beginning of puberty. The Dr thinks he got it then due to the amount of energy needed for puberty. Cindy-GA Re: question on tremors -Both of my children have tremor. It seems to come and go. Guest guest
I have seen several forms of tremor with my kids. The hypoglycemia form, the type my son Marqyuis displayed due to the pre- natal drug exposure his bio. mom had, the tremors Zipporrah occasionally has (I know it's not hypoglycemia because I have checked during the bouts), and the skaking last night that seems way too intense to be just tremors. I have had tremors from muscle weakness myself as well. I get them when I am in the heat too much or am having a crisis. Too many things can cause them and it can be hard to figure out what is going on sometimes, especially when they happen to little ones who can't communicate. Darla > -Both of my children have tremor.
