I'm not sure about the whole chicken swinging thing as I am fairly new to

this group (perhaps somebody will explain that to me someday), but she is in

my prayers and I have nothing but positive thoughts for her speedy recovery!

Hi all -

Long distance angel reporting in. Just got off the phone with . She is definitely going through the "what have I done to myself" phase. Bless her heart. She told me that last night she came close to death and coded, because of too deep of a sleep from the pain meds (she has a sleep disorder). They had to give her three different doses of Narcan (an overdose reversal-type drug). She has been up walking -- but has a migrane and is suffering a lot of nausea. I reminded her to speak up to the nurses to get the meds she needs for nausea and she called them while I was on the phone. Seems day #3 is often the worst day and reminded her that it does get easier. I'm sure she can use all the positive thoughts, chicken swinging and prayers we can give for her.

OMG, and here I was feeling so sorry for myself cuz of pain... Here's
