Guest guest
Dear Reece, I am a post-op patient of Dr. Ren's and I have to say that my experience has been very positive. I have never ever received a runaround from her office. Anything and everything I sent or had sent from my PCP was received and acknowledged. All my calls and e-mails were always promptly returned. When I was post-op about a week, I called Dr. Ren and had her paged because I had a question and she called me back within 10 minutes and she was in Kentucky. Her nurse practioner, Gio Dugay is wonderful as is her office assistant . Her nutritionist Barrie is available by phone without hassle. I just found my entire experience uncomplicated and without hassle. I know Dr. Ren has done out of staters and she is just very accomodating. It is Dr. Ren's nature to accomodate when she can. During my initial consult, Gio spent an hour doing my history and vitals, etc... Dr. Ren spent over an hour with me explaining WLS and the BPD/DS, which I had done on 4/26/01. When I had additional questions or concerns Gio or Dr. Ren spoke with me about them. I feel great, I had a very successful surgery and recovery period and I am very happy with Dr. Ren, her staff and NYU (the nurses and techs were wonderful) Good luck in your journey.
