Hi Patty-- In Dr. Anthone's information on the web site, I believe it

indicates that the switch has been performed to treat intractable reflux.

a side effect of that was weight loss. The gastroplasty has been done

to treat severe ulcers, cancer and bleeding, again with the side effect

of weight loss. Put them together, and Voila-- BPD/DS Nan E.
