Guest guest
Hey there! Anyone had it done? Anyone know where to have it done? Thanks! Barbara (LTLJSMOM)
Guest guest
At that stage eh? I was there too. I have to tell you, when you go, you aren't going to get the relief you think you will. You will get rehydrated though, and that is extrelemly important for your next step. You are still going to have to do something at home after to help things along, ( I used an enima) and once you do, you are going to literally feel pounds lighter! To avoid this in the future, get some colace at the store, generic is fine as long as it doesn't say laxative on the bottle. Take two of those a night at bed and that will help things tremendously. Don't use benefiber what ever you do! I went to Santa ....here is the link http://www.adventureinwellbeing.com/ Good Luck! Kay > Hey there! > > Anyone had it done? Guest guest
Another one of those " treatments " I wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole. Ain't no one without extensive medical training coming at my rear end without a real fight! If they're making medical claims about what the " benefits " are, make them PROVE IT! Oops, feisty pill kicking in again! Hokoana, Barbara wrote: > Hey there! > > Anyone had it done? Anyone know where to have it done? > > Thanks! -- Eleanor Oster eleanor@... Guest guest
I had a real medical benefit from it, I wasn't constipated anymore. The bariatric dept said to do it since I had tried ALL their other remedies to no avail. We are talking 5 days of constipation where it HURT. I couldn't even sit upright anymore after day 3. So sometimes these more unorthodox ways help. Yeah it was unnerving to go and have it done, but when the pain gets bad enough modesty does go out the window and you just want relief. This wasn't one of those suction type deals either, in case that is what you are envisioning. This machine was where you lie flat on an angled table, and you insert a tiny tiny tube and it only goes in about an inch at the most? Then the warm water goes in at a very comfortable rate and comes out. everything was very clean and well sanitized as well. That is all there is to it. It actually was kind of massaging feeling, so you were able to relax after a few minutes. The whole thing lasted about 20 mintues then you are done and out of there. If I weren't constipated then stuff would have come out into the receptical. She showed me pictures of the things that people have had come out of them. I am a fan of horror movies and some of that stuff in the pictures SCARED me! Anyway, it was something that had to be done and I got relief and now I know what to do to never have it done again. If I can pass this info along to someone that needs help, all the better. One thing this surgery has done is get me over my modesty. I think that is a good thing! :-) Kay > > > Hey there! > > > > Anyone had it done? Anyone know where to have it done? > > > > Thanks! > > -- > > Eleanor Oster > eleanor@s...
