Hi Pete,

Thanks for your reply. I phoned the Steps admin number today and spoke

to Hilary who gave me a direct email address for Sue Banton. They were

already aware of me and the South African Ponseti effort. I'm excited

by the possibility of setting up an affiliation with them. I'll keep

you all informed of our progress.

Do you have your letter? Do you know which Kaiser you will be going through? The details are a little different for each surgery center.

Look under " files " there is a post there that lists the process.

It's the last one in the file.

Hi ,

So far this is what I have been through...I am just a few steps into the whole system. I am also out of SSF. It may be different for those elsewhere.

Step 1. Get referral from doctor.

Step 2. Received letter of acceptance/Approved

Step 3. Received appt. for orientation/ received letter to give to my PCP to prepare orders for me to get the EKG and CXR done prior to orientation. ( I waited about 2 months for an appt. between step 2 and 3).

Step 4. Picked up orders and have these done.

Step 5. Go to orientation. (My orientation appt. is on the 18th of Oct.)

Step 6. ???

Step 7. ???

I hope this helps...

Maridiana

I can keep you posted...on the next steps. Hunt wrote:
