Guest guest
hello, would some of you tell me why you had the ds instead of the rny. i'm new and still trying to decide. thanks robert I'm about to get the DS. I chose it for several reasons. 1. I am not good at following rules especially if very strict. RNY has a lot of things you have to do to eat. I'm not talking about what you eat but how you eat etc. 2. The weight loss is a bit better than the RNY adn the chance is weight regain is much less. 3. I'm much bigger than many and this is the recommended pick for weight loss surgery. 4. They don't remove the normal plumbing of how food goes to your intestines as they do in the RNY and I think in the long run that is better (personal opinion). 5. I'm not a huge sweets eater so I don't feel the need to have dumping as deterrent. Those are my main reasons. Good luck making your choice. I really believe its a personal choice and my reasoning may not work for the next person but at least it gives you things to consider. ~~* AJ *~~ BMI 58 INSURANCE: NW Washington Medical (Regence ) DR Heap, Richland WA Denied due to exclusion, submitting appeal 6/7/01 Bellingham Support for WLS WWW.lookin2bthin.homestead.com
