Guest guest
Hi everyone, n is home and feeling quite well at 8 days post-op. This was the first time we had a chance to really chat since her surgery and she sounds terrific. She was released on Tuesday; Mt Sinai wanted her to go on Monday, but she refused. She wanted to make sure she was able to get around well enough before she left. She did not have any complaints about her incision area or even discomfort in eating soft foods. In fact, she said she had a cheese omelet today that she thoroughly enjoyed! She has been having a lot of back and knee joint pain post-op, but she said she had that before the surgery as well. It has slowed down her ability to " get up and walk " as the hospital staff was stressing its importance. Hopefully she will be back on-line in the next week or so and can share her story with us. Guest guest
Terri, That's great, I'm glad everything went well and she's feeling better! Liane was also getting the back pain instead of the incisional pain that most people get. Hopefully n will join us soon and give us all the details!
