Guest guest
Thanks you all for your kind words and prayers. I do understand that my friend's death was not my fault but I still felt how I felt. I know he was giving all the information I received on the risk, whic death is one of those risk factors to consider. I guess when some one you know dies it makes the risk of the surgery seem real. I think I minimized the risk when I had my surgery and this may have came across in my talking about my surgery. I guess the lesson for me is to remember to talk about the risk when I share with people how I loss my weight. I am sorry if I damping some spirits but if anything I hope that those who are looking into or planning to have the surgery understand the risk and possible complications, talk to their doctors, follow the medical advice of lossing weight and being in the best shape as possible, realize it is a major surgery and should not be entered into lightly, and most of all remember it is not a surgery for vanity reasons, and should be considered after all other options has failed. Again, thanks to those that responded.
