Guest guest
Becky, you might want to see an ENT doctor. You can get sarc in your parotid glands. I've had quite a bit of trouble in my mouth and gums and both sides of my neck. Once I thought I had an earache and it was an infection in my salivary glands. Something to check on anyway. hugs S.Mac Tosh wrote: Hi ,You didn't let him down...the disease did. October 9, 1970 at 3:17pm my life changed forever...I just didn't realize how much since I was so young. My pain has been less lately. My eyes are a little scratchy/dry feeling but I have a follow-up with the eye doctor Nov. 27. I did have a weird thing happen a few nights ago: woke up around 1:00am with pain under my tongue (actually right mouth floor) and down the right side of my neck. No swelling...just was hurting. Lasted off/on a couple of days and then gone.I will look forward to talking with you in the chatroom on Sunday. I ALWAYS feel better after that.Blessings,Becky <topdat (AT) bellsouth (DOT) net> wrote: Thanks Becky, I know its hard for you to have lost your brother so young, I had 46 years with my brother, yet it just wasn't enough..I can't imagine having my brother for only 13 years.. it just doesn't seem fair does it. I somehow wish that I had shaken someone into understanding how serious this disease is, I feel I let him down, even though I know I can't get the doctor's to do a blame thing even for myself... Thanks for replying, I'll talk to you Sunday.. How are you feeling, btw? Hugs, -- Re: Checking In ,I lost my brother to Liposarcoma when I was 13 and he was 23. He was my best friend. He was dx at age 14 and was considered a rare case. That was back in 1970. I think of him to this day and will never forget. They dx him with MS, but he had the exact same symptoms I do, and they wouldn't listen... He ended up having kidney and heart failure.. I miss him terribly as he was my biggest fan..whatever I had to say was the gospel to him.. He absolutely believed in me and he would rip you a new one if you didn't agree that I was right.. lol Everyone needs one just like him, at least one time in their lives..I don't think his wife or son will be coming as we haven't heard a word from them, and I've sent email's and my parents have called, no answer.. Its time for her to move on, but my nephew will always be a part of my family, he's 23 and I guess he's just trying to learn his way.. I didn't come around much when I was that age..
