Guest guest
Matt, This is so excellant about your eyesight! what a Thanks giving gift! I hope that you didn't get injured in the "flying car" process-- this gentleman sounds like quite challenge. It's wonderful that you are able to assist him. You may want to belt him into the backseat in the future tho! Can't help but love can we. . I do hope that you are able to enjoy the road trip with your mom-- and i know that the drive down from Washington is beautiful this time of year. Do make sure that you gas up in Yreka or Shasta--as they are repairing the bridge deck at Shasta (between Shasta Lake and Redding and it's one lane traffic for a long ways- and about 2 hrs of stop and go in that area.) The alternative would be to come down 101 to Eureka (Blue Lake) and come across 299 to Redding. Safe journey to you! Tracie
Guest guest
Hi thought i should check in as it has been a while- Hope everyone is having a great thanksgiving- Have some good news- my right eye which i was couldn't see out of all my life, the eye sight has returned about 75% now after my last eye surgery- its been odd seeing out of it for the first time. My mom and i leave for California on Sunday for ten days in San Fran and Sacramento where she has friends we are going to visit. Was involved in a strange car accident recently- I am the protective payee for a men who is mentally Ill and the other day his mother died suddenly so the doctor prescribed some anti depressants for him- i took him to the pharmacy to pick up the meds and on the way back he suddenly screamed and then reached over and grabbed the steering wheel. We swerved over to the next lane and of course crashed right into a Seattle police car. Luckily no one was hurt and because of the circumstances the police didn't charge me with anything. the city said they wouldn't even ask my insurance to pay the cost of repairs to the police car as it was clear it wasn't really my fault, and because of this guys severe mental illness they couldn't charge him with it. In fact he tried to tell the police, which numbered about 7 police vehicles by the time it ended that an invisible car came out of the sky and hit the police car and then backed up and drove away.all in all things are better for me. my medical situation seems to have stabilized and am feeling pretty good- Been sticking to a diet and lost about 22 pounds and have been able to finally really keep my diabetes in check- MATT

Guest guest
So glad you and your car is OK, I have been busy trying to stay ahead or maybe or should on top of my 18 yr these days. He is now driving on a suspended license until June 21, he got two tickets within a year that went over his under 18 points, the first one was driving “100” on I-25, and it started out at 6 points went to court and the DA reduced it to 3 pts. As we make him take a defenseless driving course, Then on our anniversary when we were out eating got a call and he was in an accident, only this one total both cars, he was driving his girlfriends car and get this hit his high school counselor, she broke her wrist, that was 4 pts failure to stop at a red light, he was not speeding, Thank God but said he saw the red light but it didn’t register, you only have 6 pts until your 18, that was 7, and even thought he over 18 now and has more pts. He still has to pay the time, he can drive to school, work, hockey and church and that’s it, if they stop him and he is not in his “area” automatic 5 days jail, and NO license for a year, I will be praying a lot, he needs the job to finish paying me off, we had to pay the difference of his girlfriends car that insurance didn’t cover. Isn’t life fun!! Yesterday I had to have a minor procedure in a very uncomfortable place, so will be up and down all day. Can’t seem to sit to long, or stand to long, of course that’s no different really from every day and Sarc. Sorry to rattle on, maybe we can get together next spring when you come out. Guest guest
Hi Matt, I know this reply is a delayed one, but that is great about your eye. Your health sounds good too. I bet you had a great holiday! Sorry to hear about the accident though. That was really an odd incident. Stay happy, Hugs, Debbie T. In fact he tried to tell the police, which numbered about 7 police vehicles by the time it ended that an invisible car came out of the sky and hit the police car and then backed up and drove away.all in all things are better for me. my medical situation seems to have stabilized and am feeling pretty good- Been sticking to a diet and lost about 22 pounds and have been able to finally really keep my diabetes in check- MATT~~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~~The Neurosarcoidosis CommunityNS CHAT:- FAITH CHATS: WEDNESDAY 9PM EST. 8PM CENTRAL. 6PM PST SUNDAY 12 MIDNIGHT EST. 11PM CENTRAL. 9PM PST OPEN CHATS: THURSDAY 9PM EST. 8PM CENTRAL. 6PM PST SUNDAY 4PM EST. 3PM CENTRAL. 1PM PSTCHATROOM LINK: http://www.emxpc.net/chat/index.php Message Archives:-http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Neurosarcoidosis/messagesMembers Database:-Listings of locations, phone numbers, and instant messengers.http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Neurosarcoidosis/database
Guest guest
Hi Marla, Hope your feeling better after your surgery. Did you and your family have a good Thanksgiving? I know how those teenage boys go with 3 of my own. And especially driving. My third one is bugging me now because he will be 15 and a half in January and that's when you can legally start learning how to drive here. This is the kid I was waiting for to drive - OHOH. I hope you can relax a bit with your son, I know it isn't easy. Hugs, Debbie T. Co-Moderator Marla Bramer wrote: So glad you and your car is OK, I have been busy trying to stay ahead or maybe or should on top of my 18 yr these days.
