Prayers (etc) needed..(OT- delete if not interested)

Not sure our misery has hit your airwaves, but Houston has been

declared a flood disaster area this morning. Me & mine are all safe &

sound, but there are thousands who are in really bad shape.. 21

THOUSAND folk without power.. all the hospitals in the TX Medical

Center are closed except for Texas Children's & MD (the

cancer hospital). I called my own unit to check on them.. our

personnel have not been relieved in 24 hours, they're on emergency

power, both sub-basements in the hospital are flooded (meaning no

elevators, no central supplies, no meals for the patients from the

main kitchen..). We had a code on the unit earlier today, & those

good folk have had to keep the patient stable while they waited for an

ambulance crew to get up the stairs with transport. Things are really

grim.. Prayers (swung chickens, candles..)are much appreciated.
