MRS - was MRI question

Amy, can you tell me more about the MRS? Were

the lactic acid levels normal in the blood tests, but high on the MRS?

this takes about 5 minutes and is done after the MRI it measures the different levels of chemicals in the brain. Not performed in every hospital we were at Boston Children's Hospital for it.

her blood work did not show the lactic acid (not sure they tested her blood for it)

however I guess there are only a few causes for the lactic levels for be high that leads Doctors to believe Mito.
