Guest guest
Is macadamia nut butter legal? The ingredients listed are dry roasted macadamia nuts. (Are dry roasted nuts legal?) Also, what types of teas are legal? Is chamomile tea? Green tea- I've seen an e-mail that said possibly, but maybe I should stay away. Any other herbal teas besides spearmint and peppermint? Thanks, Amber

Dry roasted nuts by itself is not legal unless you know for sure that it is, because most of the time it is sprayed with preservatives and gunk and you don't know what is in it. However, it's okay for nut butters, because they don't put the preservative gunk on it, they just roast them and turn them into butter. So that's okay. > > Also, what types of teas are legal? regular black tea with nothing extra in it, made weak. > Is chamomile tea? No > Green tea- I've seen an e-mail that said possibly, but maybe I should stay away. yes - limit it to 2 cups a day. Do you know about the legal/illegal list? http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/legal/legal_illegal_a-c.htm Many things are listed there - read it through a few times (or more) as the diet is easier to implement from a shopping and cooking POV once it's mostly committed to memory. Guest guest
Thanks, Mara! Yes, I do know about the illegal/legal list, I just couldn't find information about dry roasted nuts, but perhaps I didn't look hard enough. And I guess I was just hoping that some other teas were legal! (I know some things were amended, and I wanted to see if I had missed that.) I meant the list in reference to the teas. Mara
