Hello Group,

I wish everyone well. I would like to know if anyone had a decreased in appetite while on methotrexate? Since I have started the injections, 0.8cc weekly, I seem to have no desire to eat.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Brother :)

Hi ,I'm now on Cellcept (this evening was my 5th dose) and so far so good. Methotrexate didn't work out for me since I have a hx of a GI bleed and problems. I've heard that it has worked well for many so am hoping the same for you. You will be in my prayers. Looking forward to ITM in the morning: part 9 of the series...would never have known about it if not for you...thank you again!Blessings,Beckyanewronald@... wrote: Hello Group,

Hello Ron!

Mtx does make it so that I feel like I've got the flu for a day or two-- so it does effect my eating. However, I seem to make up for it . .

Hope all is well,

Tracie

I'm doing ok. Not great, but ok. With heating with wood exclusively, and living in an area where most of the people have to do that because of the high cost of electricity-- the air quality in No Calif gets nasty during the winter when they're burning off the rice fields-- so I'm feeling that.

as for the MTX-- I take 15mg a week, tablet form. I'm also on Plaquenil and Remicade. I think I'm going tohave to increase the dose of the Remicade- but keep it at 4wk intervals. I see the Rheumi on the 19th, so if changes are to be made- it will be in Jan.

Take care,

Tracie

Hello all. I'm still here just having a hard time with the Cytoxan treatments. I don't think I can stand any more of them and I want to change to something else.........I guess what I was wondering is what anyone else thinks of my chances on another drug? I see the neurologist after Christmas. I'm just too tired to read email alot of the time.grannylunatic@...

,I just started Cellcept a week ago and so far so good (as far as side effects). It does take about 4 months to do work on the sarcoid according to my doctor so isn't a quick acting solution. I'm not suggesting you take this but just ask your doctor about it. I had to resort to it b/c couldn't tolerate the methotrexate or plaquenil. I do still take the prednisone and will until four months are over when they will attempt to wean me very slowly.Blessings,Becky wrote: Hello all. I'm

I think I'm missing some of the messages from the forum b/c didn't see your original message Tracie.( and a couple others). Wood heating was something we did as a kid but now I'm reading about a possible correlation to sarcoid from the fumes in predisposed people. Of course, there's always something we hear/read about "possible" causes but just wanted to mention it. You'll be in my prayers.Blessings,Beckytiodaat@... wrote: In a message dated 12/4/06 4:22:32 PM Pacific Standard Time, anewronald (AT) aol (DOT) com writes: How are you?
