fevers from inflammation

I just woke up with a fever that's been ranging from 99 to 101. I'm pretty sure

it's from the inflammation, because when I first got sick with Crohn's, I had

fevers every day and night. I've only been strict on the SCD for less than a

week- and I think some of my food was contaminated anyways (with illegals) so I

don't expect it to be working yet. I am also on Remicade and Methotrexate.

Remicade I now get ever 8 weeks, but I'm nearing the end of my 8 weeks, and I'm

sure that my symptoms are coming back, because it's wearing off.

Here is my question- for those of you who get fevers from inflammation, how long

did it take the diet to work until you didn't have any? (I know it's different

for everyone, but I'm curious).

Also, seeing as I am getting symptoms back before my next scheduled infusion, if

you were me, would you ask your doc to bump up the next infusion time (maybe 7

weeks instead of 8), or would you wait the same time to see if the diet is

working? I know you can't give me medical advice, but can I ask you what you

would do if you were in my situation? If you can't answer, I understand, but I

promise I would not make a decision just based on others thoughts, and I would

weigh my options and talk to my doctor.

One last thing, how do I get a signature in my e-mails. I know you should list

your disease, how long on SCD and meds, and if I can, I'd rather not retype it

every time if possible.

Thank you,

Amber
