Guest guest
Wow! Have I had an intense set of mouth infects this month. Somehow I ate something spikey and I developed an infection in my upper left rear teeth. The infection spread to the rear pocket behind my molar (these pocketing teeth are due for gum surgery this January). The long and short of it-12 days of antibiotics and finally a tooth extraction, some topical antibiotics stuffed into the hole daily for 4 days and now I discover that my lower left teeth are getting infected because the novacaine needle handle bumped my gum below and then became infected too! Has anyone had any similar issues? Any advise as to how to get rid of these mouth bugs? I have begun swishing my yogurt around my mouth before swallowing it. Guest guest
So.... In continuing this " Gut Bugs in Mouth " . My Dentist just prescribed CLINDAMYCIN. I read the warnings " CAN SOMETIMES CAUSE A SEVERE RARELY FATAL INTESTINAL CONDITION(PSEUDOMEMBRANOUS COLITIS) due to resistant bacteria. WOW! This may in fact be the culprit to my intestinal woes. 10 years ago I was treated for having an Ulcer and given an assortment of antibiotics to take for 6 to 8 weeks. Perhaps this was among them...................FOOD FOR THOUGHT. So I called him told him about my Gut Bugs thing and got back on Amoxicillin.
