My Wife Sue - ON/Sarcoid/ NMO

Current Dx was neuromyletis optica - blind in one eye/1/2 gone in the

other. Otherwise pretty healthy. Tons of IVMP steroids over the past

2-3 yrs. due to 16 ON attacks and 2 spinal lesions.

Now either picked up pulmonary sarcoid or neurosarcoid but want to do

lung biopsy. Just got broncho tests in and found only 1 granuloma.

Been dealing with a bunch of punters/Drs NYC area

On 60 mg pred daily til more tests come in

Is a PET scan best way to dx neurosarcoid?

How can i keep her sane on steriods?

Also on 6 mo regiments of rituxan for the nmo which isnt working

Also had plasmapheresis/cytoxin....

Rheumotologist tests just came in all normal

Any advice?
