I fully understand your feelings of waiting for that phone to ring. But let me reassure you as much as I can that they are more than being cared for. I wish I would have known n was going to be there, I would have made sure and he hooked up. They are probably in the same pod though being close in age and all. It is a beautiful resort I was so amazed and fully jealous to say the least. They have air conditioned rooms they can go in at any time they want they just have to have one of the counselors go with them. There are 4 counselors to 8 boys, plus their nurse and their doctor. I loved their doctor, if he is in the same pod he has Dr. Mark. He is a very neat man and you could tell the returning kids loved him. He was great with Krissy I can tell you that since at check in she was clamped down and need a treatment right away. Try to relax as best you can. I do know though because when they went to MDA camp I was a total wreck. You can call there you know if you need to for your sanity. You don't have to talk to him, they will page one of the counselors if you want to talk to them. That way n won't know you are checking in! LOL I think next year we will do the Long Beach bus or drive them again. It is actually closer for us to just drive them to camp, but they miss the fun of the bus and all. CHLA had just the nice vans. Anyway try to get something done you need to get done. I know you still have others at home, but there will come a time you might want to send all four. I am enjoying the break and am getting a lot of much needed house cleaning done without them in my hair! LOL If you want to call me feel free, we can talk.
