You are smart to do this when your children are young...you will still have

time to run and play with them. My daughter is 14 and I am just taking care

of my obesity and inactivity now. I feel as though I missed participating in

Hi Sondra!

Wow, that is great we are going the same day! I am having teeth

problems too but I am trying to ignore them. Maybe they will just

fall out on their own before the surgery..LOL I get panic attacks so

going to the dentist is not my favorite thing. The most worrisome

thing for me is leaving the boys. My life revolves around them. I

fear leaving them without a mother permanently. That is a main

reason for me to have the surgery....and also the main reason I am

scared to have the surgery. They are two years old and I can't

participate in their lives the way they need and deserve. I have

relatives who come over and run around with them....I just can't do

it. I thought that having kids would make me feel more normal and

possibly motivate me to lose weight. Instead, they made me realize

how not normal it is to live the way I do and that the only answer

for me is surgery. I rarely leave the house and it isn't good for

any of us. Sorry for rambling, I must sound nuts. LOL Anyway, I

look forward to meeting you next week. Take care and keep me posted.

I understand what you are saying soooooooooooo well....I'm looking to have the surgery because of my kids but I'm scared to have the surgery because of my kids....all I know is that we can only make the best decision we can with what we have....personally, I have a big butt and that is helping me decide LOL....by really....you are not alone in your feelings and there is so much to know....and to do after....I'm thinking about being able to run around with my 4 year old and looking good around my 11 year old....I never want her to go through what I did being large...anyway, you have plenty of soulmates here....I hope you count me as one.
