Good luck! If they do the catheter, tell Dr. U. to just give you some

antibiotics " for UTI prophylaxis " . That means " to prevent urinary

tract infection " . You can tell him that a bossy RN in one of the

support groups told you to say this. You can also add that it will

prevent him from receiving that middle-of-the-night call because

you're having symptoms of a UTI.

I am sure you'll do fine! Huzzah!

I will be thinking of you and praying for you. Stay by the toilet the Fleet

isn't fun but you are right it is step 1 to surgery. I am so excited for you we

will only be a week apart. I am down 10 lbs. already so it is exciting even

though it is an emotional ride.

Thanks for the support, just called Kaiser and I have to be there at 6:30am

tomorrow. I had a really good workout at the gym this morning and feeling very

ready. My husband just went to the store, he didn't think I had enough sugar

free jello on hand, he's been great. Thanks again to all and I will be in touch
