Countdown to ::Drum roll:: The Other Side has offically begun!

Hi Everyone...

It's offical! I just took my 3 tablespoons of MOM and I thought this

would be my ceramonial kick-off to meet some of you on the other

side! This morning is surreal and a little numb. No anxiety just

yet but I'll give that another 2 mintues.

My surgery is tomorrow at South San Francisco with Dr. Umbach (AKA my

Gastric Bypass Drill Sergeant). I feel very safe under his care and

look forward to working with the tool he leaves me after tomorrow

morning.

Thank you to all the wonderful angels on this site. You guys really

guided me. Tamara and Robynn...thank god for you two. I am so

deeply touched by your friendships on and off this site. Tamara -

your checking in calls kept my sanity! Robynn - our walks kept

unwanted calories off of me! Ahh such a balance I tell you.

....and my dear dear Marita can't wait til we walk those halls with

our sexy IVs and hospital gowns! It will be like a night at the

Emmys walking down the red carpet...well sorta?!
