Yes, I can almost guarantee that you won't drink nearly as much with your

meals as pre-op, but you can drink with meals. Early post op it might be too

difficult, but later on it has been no problem for me.

Carole, I am 18+ months post op and I still cannot drink with my meals. I do

take a tiny sip sometimes, but it fills me up and then I start spitting the

foamy stuff. I had a endoscopies a few months back and my stomach is still

around 5 oz and I believe (maybe I am wrong) by not drinking while eating,

that is why my stomach stayed small. I would drink if I could however.
