Yum! Sounds good! Where did you find the recipes for the mock sweet potatoes? I had not thought about using butternut squash as a substitute for sweet potatoes. Also, what recipes did you use for the mock mashed potatoes and dressing?

All the recipes are my own.

I'll see if I can get them posted in the next day or two. I always mean

to do it, but then, Canadian Thanksgiving sneaks up on me, and suddenly,

it's US Thanksgiving Day, and then it's Christmas Insanity Season (since

I work retail), and somehow, it never gets done.

I made a yummy "mashed" potato dish for Christmas from http://geoffslater.blogspot.com/2009/01/squash-and-cheese-scd-freindly.html

I made it the day before Christmas and when I tasted it to make sure it was good I had to restrain myself from eating the whole bowl! I would definitely

use 2 squash the next time so I have even more! Just add the ingredients to taste

Gather together:1 Acorn squash ( 2 if they are small)Mild cheddar cheesebuttersalt and pepperlarge glass baking panCut the squash in halfRemove seeds and place upside down on tray with a little waterBake in oven at 375 degrees until water is gone, the squash is soft and smells roastedRemove soft squash from skin and place in bowlAdd grated cheddar (the more the better in my books!) to squash and mixAdd butter, salt, pepper to taste

Hi All:

Here is a link to Marilyn's Thanksgiving dinner recipes.

http://www.pecanbread.com/recipes/thanksgiving.html

On the page are recipes for:

Turkey

Poultry Dressing

Poultry Seasoning

Turkey Gravy

Cranberry Sauce

Cheesy Mock Mashed Potatotes

Ranch Style Green Beans

Ranch Dressing

Brie Beans

Brie Cheese Sauce

Pumpkin Pie

The dressing on this site is obviously not the celeriac version... which I can't

wait for the post to try it!!!
