They are really good and I think they have 25 grams proiten....Good luck honey.. Big Hugs Caryl Hello everyone, I know I should've asked sooner but I was hoping it would get better.. Im having trouble with my protein intake. Ive tried 2 different types of protein drinks and both hve made me gag. The nutritionist doesnt know, but he did know that I was also having trouble eating period. Up until yesterday Ive only been eating 2 times a day. ( soups only) I drink water and sugar-free iced tea all day, but I have to force myself to eat. The thing is that I just heard of someone who had complications due to not following the plan (protein, diet, etc) and Im scared. I feel great, but I dont want to get sick. I take my vitamins, I drink enough fluids, and Im trying my best to eat at least 3 times a day. Now I need to find out, is there some other way to get my protein?? If not, is there some other kinds of protein drinks you guys know about?? Please help.. Im more than thrilled about my weight loss, but I know I also have to stay healthy and Im scared about not doing that right now.. Thanks you guys before hand for all your help.. Guest guest
, I know exactly what you mean. I had the same problem. The protein drinks I was doing pre op made me gag post op. I have found a product that I can actually handle. It is called Protidiet and comes in a variety of forms. I personally like the hot chocolate. It only has 80 cal (I think) and 15 grams protein, very little sugar. You can find it at Protidiet.com. I hope this helps you. Guest guest
Yes I agree I have tried them and they are good with a little after taste. Not Bad at all.. Caryl MIchelle, Have you tried the Isopure bottled drinks. I like those ones they are the only ones I can have my fav are Grape, Mango Peach, & Alpine Punch. Now I do not like the Chocolate things and I don't like the ones that are blurry. This is like Kool Aid look. It doesnt smell good and it takes all of your saliva right away but it doesnt taste to bad. Guest guest
How far out are you?? If its only a few days to a week you are ok. If not you need to try and find one you like. Vitalady has samples. I doctor mine up with sugar free syrups. My favorite immediately post op was to get vanilla pro complex and add an ounce of whatever flavor I was in the mood for. I now do pure whey stack chocolate with a shot of toasted marshmellow, caramel or peppermint patty. I also like the banana scream straight! Guest guest
, try the Isopure Zerocarb protein from GNC. They're different from all the rest somehow. And if you can't tollerate them, you can return it and get a refund. Good luck! Laurie __________________________________ Yahoo! Music Unlimited Access over 1 million songs. Guest guest
I see that the list has some good recommendations for you, but I would still try the GNC stuff because you don't have to wait for shipping.
