Guest guest
he is starting me on Lyrica. He is also adamant that I start plavix because I can't take aspirin, he is worried about strokes. Are these medicines a no-no with sarc? Connie, I would talk to the pharmacist. Let him know what your situation is-- and get the scoop from the pharmacist. I do like the idea that he's putting you on something to keep the stroke issue at bay. If you have any slurred speech, coordination impairment, loss of vision or a "curtain veil" effect (like someone pulling the window shade down part way) get into the Ophthalmologist or ER-- as these are signs of ocular involvement. I know that Trigeminal Neuralgia is one of the most painful experiences-- a lighting bolt pretty well describes it. I am so sorry. I'm not sure what they can do to bring down the inflammation in this nerve-- I know a couple of people in the group have this issue. I'm sure they'll clue you in. Guest guest
Thanks for answering Tracie, I know you don't really feel like it. I don't get to read or write emails like I used too, and I'm sorry about that. I was just a little concerned, I will ask the pharmacist; like everybody else I've had too many fights with medicine that I lost. Thanks again, take care and I'm praying you'll be feeling better soon. Wanna hear a good one, even with the neuropsych testing, that says I am losing ground, the trigeminal neuralgia, numbness, etc. etc. He still will not conclusively say I am neurosarc, systemic he can't deny. They are going to do the neuropsych testing again in a few mths because of the new problems. I sat in Sunday School a while back with my left arm jerking up off the table for no reason, I finally just sat on my hand and finished teaching class. I am very thankful that he listened about the head pain, and the strokes. I loved my father, but I do not want to end up like him.................Connietiodaat@... wrote: In a message dated 1/23/07 2:38:26 PM Pacific Standard Time, conaugusta (AT) yahoo (DOT) com writes: he is starting me on Lyrica.
