Guest guest
Hi guys, its been awhile since I posted and given the last update.. I still can only see very little through my R eye, there was a girl on here named Bonnie that gave me the name of a Dr which specialized in Immuno/Opthomology.. I emailed him and sure enough he emailed me back.. I gave him a short history and just asked if this could be sarcoid related.. the opthamologist in Nashville, keep talking about there is inflammation at the retina..but they deny that it is sarcoid related. Dr informed me that if very well could be sarcoid related.. since he was so far away, he gave me another Dr's name and address that had the same speciality as him self.. I made an appointment for Feburary the 20th..which seems like a long time away but I've gone this long it started back in November.. I noticed yesterday, that when I went outside, I didn't have horrible pain in that eye, but every thing was white and blinding.. otherwise I can see what seems to be looking through a very thick gray glass.. I know this isn't normal, as I was seeing fine before the cataract surgery. I'd just like to thank Bonnie for making the suggestion, and thank you guys for your support.. I love you all.. Guest guest
, I'm glad I was able to help and now I hope you can get the treatment that will help save your vision. We all have to help each other because most docs just don't see enough of us to know what they need to know to diagnose, and then, help!! I know, been there, done that. I'm kind of anti-doctors at the moment.. Even though I work with 'em. Please let me know what happens. You are in my prayers. Guest guest
, I'm so glad that you were able to get an appointment with someone who will take this seriously. Do call and ask to be on a cancellation list so that if you can get in earlier, that you do so. I have to admit that I'm really struggling with the frustration of there being so much that is happening to you, and to many of us, and that we're not getting the care that we deserve. Right now, I don't have the fight in me-- at least not today, and I sure wish I did-- maybe tomorrow it will be back. We all know how this goes, and that doesn't mean it should. Take care girlfriend, Tracie
Guest guest
Hi everyone just wanted to write and ask if anyone knew of an Immuno/Opthamologist in the northern illinois region. I live close to Rockford and could drive to chicago or up to Wisc if needed. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also, hang in there. You are on my mind and I pray for you daily. Lots of hugs, Tammytiodaat@... wrote: ,I'm so glad that you were able to get an appointment with someone who will take this seriously.
