Guest guest
I have noticed that I'm sensitive to apples. However, I haven't tried them dried. Does anyone know, typically, if one has a problem with a particular food that's cooked or raw, would one have the same problem if the food is dried,? Also, how long should I store them? Should I put them in my freezer/fridge? Do they keep well in those temps.? Thanks!
Guest guest
I’m not sure of the answer to your question about sensitivity and forms of food. I do know, however, that dried fruit, such as dried apples, are considered advanced. They can be hard on the gut to digest. I don’t remember how long you’ve been on the SCD. Are you trying the homemade applesauce? Have you tried making pear sauce? Or have you tried cooked berries? If the applesauce is bothering you then pull it from your diet and maybe try it again farther down the road. Some people report that sensitivities to certain foods go away after being on the diet for awhile.
