Guest guest
Hi Pam, My daughter ran and hid I finally found her in the toilet in the next ward. They finally decided to wait until we could get a play therapist. That didn't work so her Doctor said they would have to put her to sleep because they wouldn't scare her by holding her down. Well it worked she decided the blood test was a better option than going to sleep. Then luckily we had the same doc for the next 3 blood test he was great with her. She has also asked if we can find out the flavour of her blood. Bye Carole Re: to Carole Hi, Carole, I know what you mean about those blood tests. Amy hated them at the beginning and was prone to fainting when they had to draw a lot of blood. Now she takes it all in stride and has a good time chatting with the lab gals. The lab people have been great for her; this has made a real difference in her thoughts about " sucking her blood away " , her term. We're now seeing the endo every three months and it's a real relief to not go in so often. Guest guest
Thanks, . I think I still have swelling but my friends don't think so. I am going to give it a year, wait for the orthodontics to be completed and then see what I am left with. I have pretty much given up the notion of eating things that take a lot of chewing anyway. Thanks for the advice and support. > > > > Ray, > > > > Did you have trouble biting your jaws or inside lip after surgery? > > I will be 8 weeks post op tomorrow and I am a little worried that > > when the feeling comes back 100% that the biting will be a bit > > excruitating. I am at 150 (20 pounds from goalof 130 that I set for myself). I have been debatingabout just trying to maintain or continue to try andlose because I am in a 8 petite and they have becomeloose. I really don't think I want to be smaller thana 8. Well, if it comes off great but if I stayed hereI would not be heart broken. Someone told me to goahead and loose because my weight just might fluctuatea bit as time passes on. We are only 8 monthsout...not even at our year mark so anything couldhappen. Who knows, I just might like being in a size6...maybe 4 but we will just have to wait and see whathappens.I went and had a consult with the plastic surgeonabout my breast and tummy tuck. That went well. Still contiplating if I will do it now (because Icould) or just wait until my year mark. Lots todecide but I will be prayerful about it as its only 4months to our one year mark.Glad to hear you are doing something with your house. We just finished construction on a house we bought forrenting in January of this year. I am glad it is overand people have started calling about renting so thatis cool.I will continue to be hear, read and even chime infrom time to time. I am so proud of your success Colleen. Keep onpressing your way. You are going to be there beforeyou know it.Pam Marsh--- snickers_95203@... wrote:> Only 24 lbs from goal!!??? WOW!! I am thrilled for> you.
