Guest guest
Pam: My daughter had the surgery at SSF and stayed at a hotel near by. She had to register at Kaisier by 7:30am. Being that the traffic can be just horrible during the early hour commute - We decided to stay in SSF the night before her surgery. So I guess it is depending on how far you are from Richmond and what time your surgery is. My best of wishes are with you - keep me posted on your progress - we can get thru this together. Guest guest
Kristie, >I've had a couple of minor surgeries and they didn't seem to bother me before hand as much as this one. This one feels kind of like it is the Super Bowl of Surgeries. I think you are right about sleeping in your own bed, unless it's really early, then I might have trouble with the traffic coming from Vacaville. Thanks for your support! Pam E. > > > Pam E. I did not stay close to the hospital the night before. I was freaking out the whole time also. Honestly for me the drive (75 minutes) helped me just kinda say ... " OK Kristie you have everything done for the family, everything done for you, you have wanted this a long time and this is the trip that is changing your life " It was a good time for me just to take a deep breath and say here we go.... Other people might be different but I wanted to sleep in my bed until I left for the hospital. > > Kristie > > > > > From: " granela52 " > > Date: 2005/10/21 Fri PM 10:22:04 PDT > > To: gastric-bypass-support-kaiser-patients > > Subject: Re: Surgery Date > > > > >
Guest guest
Pam E. I had many different surgeries like I said, and to me this one wasn't bad at all. I was really scared before hand, and it did seem like the Super Bowl, but it wasn't what I thought. It went great and seemed fairly easy to me.
