Thanks so much for your e-mail. You lightened me up today. It is good to know

someone who it hasn't progressed far and who has learned how to cope. Also, I

will be proactive to teach him the skills of lip-reading - should be fairly easy

(I think) at his age......hope so.

To be honest Anne, even if you didnt teach him, he would most likely

unconciously pick it up... it wasnt something i decided to do, it

was just something that happened, and one day I realised i could

understand the people on TV even when it was on mute... really odd,

but it just became habit to stare at peoples lips when they talk ...

lol!
