My twins and Lucas were all healthy at birth. Only after Lucas was 6 to 9 months of age did we know he had problems. I truly believe if it wasn't for the stress Lucas causes the twins I would not even think of mito issues for them. Whenever Lucas is hospitalized it seems to burden the twins and cause then alot of worry. My boys are probably as normal as they come except for hyperactivity and inability to focus. In addition the twins birthday's are June 25th. This puts them as some of the youngest in their classes. I really feel that that has affected them in things such as sports. They had to play on a U-12 soccer team and never turned 12 until after the season was over.

I am sure that you have read several posts and some are fortunate to have either younger or older siblings that appear to be unaffected by mito. Good luck and I hope you can have more healthy children. Feel free to email me off list if you have more questions.
