Hi everyone, I have so appreciated the long and detailed messages of

late. I think it was that helped me make my decision to go ahead

with the operation. I have been vacillating for a long while and when

those reports came out about the very bad results of folks over 65, I

hesitated a lot. But I feel great. I have lost about 21 pounds and

have about 10 to go. I am swimming a lot. I feel young. And I intend

to follow the rules meticulously, especially the Rules of the Pouch

which was a very valuable posting under messages. I even copied it and

saved it in case I start gaining or I fail to lose. I still hav e some

weeks to go before I can get a date for the operation I will be

reading about your feelings and concerns and triumphs. This is such a

great support as it is meant to be. Are there other support groups?

Still no answer from anyone in Marin. OWell.
